So I've already detailed two Paul's in my life, but the third has probably had the single most impact in my life.
That man is Pastor Rich Jones.
The more and more I look back at our relationship I see how much he has influenced where I am today. He always used to annoy me and drive me crazy telling me about how I was going to go into ministry and I used to tell him it would never happen. But look where I am today?
Sure I made plenty of mistakes while trying to understand where he was guiding me, but I was able to see true character in his life.
This man has an unbelievable sense of what God is calling him to do. He understands that his family needs to come first and he puts them first. He is good at getting things for free and that is a valuable lesson to learn in life. He knows how to have fun while doing the work that God has called him to do.
To be honest, I only remember one message he ever spoke and that's because it was awkward. But it was his relationship with me and commitment to growing that relationship that made the most impact on me.
He will be marrying Carlie and I in June and I'm so excited to have Pastor Rich apart of one of the most important days in my life.
Sure he likes the worst sports teams ever but still... He's the man.
